NetJets Aircraft Maintenance Technician (FAA A&P) position in Columbus, OH. Airframe, powerplant, and systems maintenance work. Entry-level to junior role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform wing walking, checks, dismantling, overhauling, repairing, replacing, assembling and erecting all parts of aircraft, aircraft engines, instruments, electrical systems, heating systems, and hydraulic systems
- Conduct inspection work and quality assurance on aircraft maintenance operations
- Execute machine tool work and specialized maintenance tasks in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations
- Maintain compliance with FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification requirements and regulatory standards
- Support lead technicians and contribute to team-based maintenance operations at company domestic maintenance stations
Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to qualify for required security clearances, access permits, and badges
- Ability to read, write, understand, and speak fluently in English
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills
Experience
0–2 years of professional aviation maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of formal FAA-accredited aviation maintenance technology education and hands-on aircraft technician work; candidates qualifying through trade testing may be subject to an extended 180-day competency review period.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology from an FAA-accredited program is preferred, though not required if candidate has two years of documented A&P certificate experience or successful completion of a recognized trade test.
