The Account Executive serves as a consultative partner to NetJets Owners, retaining business, selling aircraft and growing flight hours through tailored solutions and relationship management. The role monitors Owner activity, manages renewals and communications, and coordinates service recovery and regional events.
Role & Responsibilities
- Retain business, sell new aircraft and increase flight hours flown, ensuring results are achieved or exceeded.
- Monitor economic trends, Owner flight history and NetJets’ fleet plan to proactively recommend renewals, trading, add-ons and graduation from Card to Share, and identify referral opportunities.
- Manage timelines for upcoming renewals and card expirations.
- Use Salesforce.com to track opportunities, retention efforts, Owner meetings and communications, and work with the AE Manager on ad hoc reporting for senior management.
- Maintain familiarity with the NetJets program, including billing, international travel and booking; seek detailed explanations from internal experts as needed.
- Maintain technical knowledge of aircraft and aviation, and stay current on new product offerings and internal policy updates.
- Communicate regularly with Owners by phone, email and in person to obtain feedback; use that feedback to lead discussions with internal teams and support Owner loyalty.
- Stay informed about changes affecting Owners and their industries, and address them with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Use strategies from internal sales training to build consensus around NetJets’ value across multiple levels of Owner organisations.
- Monitor Owner flight activity to minimise and resolve service disruptions, and communicate and champion NetJets’ value through service successes and upgrades.
- Research, analyse and build relationships to understand Owner needs and explain how NetJets products and services meet those needs and goals.
- Communicate changes to the NetJets program to Owners, share information about regional Owner events and manage Owner attendance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
- Previous sales experience preferred.
- Fluency in the local language relevant to the territory and in business English, written and spoken.
