Role & Responsibilities

• Uphold and project the company’s commitment to customer service.
• Maintain a professional image and demeanor in accordance with NET-A-PORTER appearance guidelines; uniforms and a truck are provided.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Work independently with limited supervision in all kinds of weather.
• Secure all undelivered and returned merchandise and return it to the inventory system daily.
• Assist the manager and supervisor with day-to-day operations.
• Interact daily with couriers, dispatchers, and the customer service team.
• Ensure couriers are fully prepared for their daily routes.

Qualifications

• Maintain a clean driving record: in the last three years, have held only one license, with no driving-related suspension, revocation, or cancellation, no disqualifying offenses, no more than two moving violations, and no reckless driving incidents.
• A Driving Defense Certificate is required, preferably issued within the last six months.
• Pass pre-employment screening.
• Be able to work in all weather conditions and walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
• Be flexible with shift patterns to meet customer demand; required shifts include 9:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 3:00 p.m., with a 1:00 p.m. shift added during summer months. Start times are communicated one week in advance.
• Understand luxury customer service and its expectations, with strong communication skills.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Have a proven record of successfully solving problems.
• Demonstrate a calm manner, initiative in addressing issues on the road and with customers, and excellent personal presentation.
• Delivery driving experience in New York City, Connecticut, or New Jersey is preferred.

The base compensation for this position is USD 26 per hour.
