Role & Responsibilities

  • Promote NET-A-PORTER brand through earned media initiatives across UK, EU, and MENA markets via own-brand and partner collaborations
  • Secure regular media coverage with key UK, EU, and MENA publications, tailoring pitches to regional marketing moments and audience preferences
  • Monitor and capture daily press coverage on NET-A-PORTER directives, providing market-segmented updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
  • Track competitor activity and industry news, sharing relevant insights with the senior team to inform strategic positioning
  • Manage and mentor the PR Assistant, overseeing daily brand exposure monitoring and ensuring all communications remain on-brand and timely
  • Maintain and update press databases, media contact lists, and distribution channels including journalists, social media contacts, and newsletter platforms
  • Build and sustain strategic relationships with key media outlets across target geographies
  • Fulfil all press image and spokesperson requests promptly, ensuring maximum coverage opportunities
  • Conceptualize and pitch creative brand narratives and feature ideas aligned with campaigns and spokesperson availability
  • Develop and distribute monthly PR pitches encompassing product launches, new brands, and editorial features
  • Oversee subscription management for global teams, ensuring timely renewals and compliance
  • Support own-brand and co-branded events including guest curation, guestlist development, and on-site coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams including MR PORTER PR, Influencer & Affiliates, Editorial, and cross-functional departments

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of PR experience, ideally with luxury fashion brands
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets
  • Strong understanding of media landscapes across digital, print, and broadcast channels
  • Creative ideation and strategic thinking in campaign development
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Fluency in English; additional languages considered advantageous
