Role & Responsibilities

• Uphold and project the company’s commitment to customer service.
• Maintain a professional image and demeanor in accordance with NET-A-PORTER appearance guidelines; uniforms and a truck are provided.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Work independently in all weather conditions with limited supervision.
• Secure all undelivered and returned merchandise and return it to the inventory system daily.
• Assist the manager and supervisor with day-to-day operations.
• Interact daily with couriers, dispatchers and the customer service team.
• Ensure couriers are fully prepared for their daily routes.

Qualifications

• Maintain a clean driving record: in the last three years, have held only one license, with no driving-related suspension, revocation or cancellation, no disqualifying offenses, no more than two moving violations and no reckless driving incidents; the source also references the last seven years.
• A driving defense certificate is required, preferably no more than six months old.
• Pass pre-employment screening.
• Be able to work in all weather conditions and walk, stand and sit for extended periods.
• Be flexible with shift patterns to meet customer demand.
• Understand luxury customer service and customer expectations, with strong communication skills.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully solving problems.
• Maintain a calm manner and use initiative to address issues on the road and with customers, with excellent personal presentation.
• Delivery driver experience in NYC, Connecticut or New Jersey is preferred.

The base compensation for this position is USD 26 per hour.
