Role & Responsibilities
- Create an engaging visual environment in the store and support visual initiatives under the direction of the Visual Manager.
- Merchandise the sales floor, create appropriate window displays, and dress mannequins in accordance with Neiman Marcus merchandising and visual standards.
- Prepare the sales floor for opening, demonstrating initiative and urgency.
- Follow directives and corporate guidelines from the Visual Manager and Corporate Visual team.
- Execute promotional and sale set-ups, including presentation, lettering, and sales-floor signage; assist the Sales Support Team with trunk shows and personal appearance set-ups and preparation.
- Help replenish merchandise on the sales floor and in wall units.
- Handle additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of visual team experience in a major multi-level department store.
- Possess a portfolio of previously created projects.
- Use carpentry tools safely and efficiently.
- Experience with painting techniques.
- Experience with basic production and knowledge of materials.
- Experience in styling and fashion pulls.
- Strong knowledge of current fashion and art trends.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Illustrator is preferred.
