Neiman Marcus in Austin, TX seeks a Visual Associate (onsite). Hourly $22.61–$28.26; responsible for window displays, mannequin styling and in-store visual presentation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute visual merchandising directives set by the Visual Manager and Corporate Visual team, ensuring alignment with seasonal campaigns and brand standards.
- Create, install and maintain compelling window displays, in-store vignettes and mannequin styling that reflect current fashion and art trends.
- Merchandise the sales floor and wall units, including replenishment and presentation for promotional and sale set-ups (lettering, signage and display components).
- Operate carpentry and basic production tools safely to build fixtures and props; perform painting and material finishing as required.
- Support trunk shows, personal appearances and ad hoc visual projects, collaborating with Sales Support and store teams to ensure selling-floor readiness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' visual merchandising experience on a multi-level department store visual team; portfolio of prior projects required.
- Proven experience in window and in-store display construction, mannequin styling and fashion pulls.
- Practical experience with carpentry tools, painting techniques and basic production/materials knowledge.
- Strong awareness of current fashion and contemporary art trends, with a refined aesthetic sensibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator preferred.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on visual team experience in a major multi-level department store with a demonstrable portfolio of display and window projects.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; formal training or certificate in visual merchandising, design, or related field preferred.
