Role & Responsibilities
- Open the store and manage safe, controller, and registers; distribute operational reports
- Process morning cash entries, bank deposits, chargeback reconciliation, and register/petty cash counts
- Resolve customer issues through research and processing of payments, package tracking, and customer inquiries
- Receive, verify, and book all jewelry merchandise in accordance with company standards and guidelines
- Process re-tickets, return-to-vendors (RTV), transfers, ASN shipments, and price changes for jewelry inventory
- Retrieve and process merchandise for return or transfer to vendors following established protocols
- Conduct and reconcile case counts; enter merchandise into the case count system and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain comprehensive repair logs, track repairs sent to vendors or local shops, and process repair invoices
- Coordinate trunk show logistics including merchandise receipt, show setup/takedown, and results recaps
- Prepare special order requests and Statements of Sale as required
- Communicate with Corporate Merchants, Accounts Payable, Inventory Control, and external vendors
- Ensure internal audit readiness by monitoring vault and safe contents; maintain audit-compliant documentation
- Process fulfillment orders and assist managers and sales associates on the selling floor as needed
- Execute ad-hoc operational responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Ability to lift cartons up to 15 lbs, climb ladders, and handle merchandise racks and carts
- Strong computer proficiency including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, team-oriented environments with high multitasking demands and minimal supervision
- Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills in maintaining personal workspace and records
- Flexibility to work varying schedules according to business operational needs and adherence to dependability standards
- Proficiency in applying store policies and procedures to support decision-making
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional handling of telephone and in-person interactions
