Role & Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, professional service to assigned seating sections, delivering a refined dining experience consistent with Neiman Marcus standards.
- Communicate detailed menu information using thorough knowledge of food preparation and culinary terminology.
- Recommend and serve wine, beer and spirits; apply appropriate technical service procedures and beverage pairing guidance.
- Manage multiple tables and duties simultaneously while interacting graciously with clientele.
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and execute pre-shift, post-shift and other duties as assigned by supervision.
- Process transactions and adhere to established accounting procedures and POS system protocols.
- Maintain restaurant, workstation and personal presentation to the highest hygiene and appearance standards.
- Assist with light moving and lifting of restaurant equipment (tables, chairs, highchairs) as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience serving food and beverages in a full-service or fine-dining environment.
- Thorough knowledge of order of service, proper table settings (china, glass, flatware) and ticket-driven service.
- Working knowledge of wine, beer and spirits and proper service techniques.
- Exceptional customer service, problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs and lift/carry up to 35 pounds.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; reliability with timekeeping and scheduling.

Experience
Experience serving food and beverage in a full-service or fine-dining restaurant is preferred; proven ability to follow formal table service guidelines.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 22.03 to USD 27.54 per hour.
