Neiman Marcus seeks a Seasonal Operations Associate to support the store operations team during peak retail periods. Reporting to an Operations Manager, the role encompasses unloading and sorting inbound merchandise, preparing outbound shipments, managing daily inventory control operations, executing price changes, and ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures in warehouse and receiving areas. The position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business demands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Unload, sort, and stage inbound merchandise for placement on the selling floor
- Prepare outbound merchandise for shipment to clients, other store locations, or distribution centers
- Execute daily inventory control operations and reconciliation
- Process merchandise price changes as directed
- Maintain all safety and compliance procedures on the receiving dock and throughout warehouse areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of prior experience in operations, warehouse, or similar logistics environment
- Proficiency with retail technologies and mobile devices
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, bend, climb stairs, and lift/carry merchandise up to 35 pounds
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business operations
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in an operations, warehouse, or inventory management role within a retail, logistics, or distribution environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no specific advanced education required.
