This seasonal part-time position supports Neiman Marcus operations during the peak retail season, focusing on back-of-house merchandise management and inventory control. Reporting to an Operations Manager, the associate will handle receiving and sorting inbound merchandise, preparing outbound shipments, managing daily inventory operations, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols across all work areas.
Role & Responsibilities
- Unload and sort inbound merchandise, preparing items for placement on the selling floor
- Prepare outbound merchandise for shipment to clients, other stores, or distribution centers
- Execute daily inventory control operations and maintain accurate records
- Process merchandise price changes in accordance with store procedures
- Enforce all safety protocols on the receiving dock and throughout designated work areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in operations, warehouse, or back-of-house roles
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Comfort with retail and mobile technologies
