- Own the sales experience within the department, driving revenue growth through development and execution of client development plans.
- Recruit, onboard and retain high-calibre selling talent; create a talent bench and manage scheduling to support promotional and business needs.
- Coach, mentor and performance-manage a team of direct reports on selling behaviors, clienteling, product knowledge and career development.
- Lead customer experience initiatives—plan and support client appointments, events and in-store activations to increase loyalty and acquisition.
- Leverage clienteling tools and social selling to drive repeat business and expand wallet share through targeted outreach.
- Use data-driven analysis to identify customer patterns, optimize selling strategies and recommend actionable merchandising or outreach tactics.
- Enforce policies, support audit compliance, and maintain stockroom and departmental controls to protect inventory and profitability.
- Partner cross-functionally with store leadership, marketing, merchants and vendors to execute client programs and elevate in-store experiences.
- Champion change initiatives, surface best practices, and foster a collaborative environment that encourages feedback and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Supervisory experience leading and developing a team of direct reports in a retail environment.
- Demonstrable track record of managing a selling and operations workforce and delivering measurable business results.
- Proficiency with clienteling tools, social media for social selling, and Google Workspace (advanced proficiency preferred).
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to structure clear, persuasive messages.
- High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to stand, bend and lift up to 10 pounds.
