Neiman Marcus — Charlotte seeks a Sales Manager, Jewelry & Handbags to lead client development and drive sales (full-time, onsite).
Role & Responsibilities
- Own the sales and client development strategy for the Jewelry & Handbags department, driving revenue growth and wallet-share expansion.
- Recruit, onboard and build a high-performing selling team; manage staffing and scheduling in alignment with promotional and business needs.
- Coach, mentor and develop direct reports through ongoing training, performance management, and career development plans.
- Model and reinforce exceptional customer service and client relationship-building; support and execute client appointments and in-store events.
- Leverage clienteling tools and social selling to acquire new clients and deepen existing relationships; use data to identify opportunities and tailor outreach.
- Implement department plans and strategies; anticipate risks and remove operational roadblocks to maintain excellence.
- Enforce policies, stockroom controls and audit compliance; resolve escalations and operational issues quickly and fairly.
- Promote a culture of recognition, accountability and continuous improvement; share best practices and champion change initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience leading a selling and operations team with direct reports.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business results in a retail environment.
- Proficiency with clienteling tools, social media for social selling, and Google Workspace; advanced proficiency preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and effective coaching ability.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; able to stand, bend, and lift up to 10 pounds.

Experience
Relevant experience leading and developing retail selling teams with demonstrated success in managing sales performance and store operations. Experience in luxury fashion retail preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional retail leadership experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 74,615 to USD 93,269 per annum.
