Role & Responsibilities
- Own the in-store sales experience and lead department-level initiatives to achieve sales and client development targets.
- Recruit, onboard and retain high-calibre selling talent; build bench strength and plan for succession.
- Coach, mentor and develop direct reports through ongoing training, performance calibration and targeted development plans.
- Model and sustain exceptional clienteling behaviours; oversee client appointments, events and outreach to deepen relationships and increase wallet share.
- Leverage clienteling tools, social selling and data-driven analysis to identify opportunities, increase repeat business and acquire new clients.
- Manage day-to-day department operations including scheduling, task prioritization, audit compliance and stockroom controls.
- Resolve customer escalations and workplace conflicts with fairness and minimal disruption while promoting accountability across the team.
- Partner with store leadership, marketing, merchants and vendors to plan and execute in-store events and client experiences.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience leading a selling and operations workforce with direct-report management responsibilities.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering business results through team leadership, coaching and performance management.
- Proficiency with clienteling tools, social media (social selling) and Google Workspace; advanced proficiency preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to stand, bend and lift up to 10 pounds.
- Preferred: Luxury retail fashion experience and a four-year college degree; continuous learning mindset and resilience to change.
