Role & Responsibilities

• Maintains table setup in dining rooms by clearing and re-setting tables to ensure consistent presentation standards
• Delivers popovers, butter, and pours water for guests
• Transports food and beverage to guests in accordance with kitchen tickets and service protocols
• Maintains the bus station and beverage preparation areas to support service operations
• Learns and manages table numbers and sections within the dining area for operational efficiency
• Assists kitchen and service staff with additional customer requests, plate restocking, to-go order packaging, and expediter station setup
• Refills beverages and delivers food from the kitchen to the dining room as needed
• Sets up the dining room with essential service items including coffee, iced tea, and ice
• Restocks dining room supplies including glasses, flatware, and linens throughout service periods
• Participates in daily pre-shift meetings and executes assigned pre-shift, post-shift, and routine duties
• Lifts, moves, and arranges furniture and dining equipment as required
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of restaurant facilities and personal workstations
• Adheres to the highest standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in food and beverage service with knowledge of proper table service guidelines
• Thorough knowledge of proper placement of china, glassware, and flatware for table settings
• Comprehensive understanding of order of service and table setting protocols
• Familiarity with food preparation methods and culinary terminology
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly
• Capacity to stand for extended periods, bend, climb stairs, and perform repetitive tasks
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs
