Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain dining-room readiness by clearing, resetting and polishing tables according to service standards.
- Deliver popovers, accompaniments and non-alcoholic beverages; refill drinks and restock beverage stations.
- Run food and beverages from kitchen to dining room as indicated by kitchen tickets and expediter directions.
- Support waitstaff and kitchen with service needs, including restocking plates, bagging to‑go orders and assisting the expediter station.
- Set up and break down dining-room stations (coffee, iced tea, ice) and maintain bus station, glassware, flatware and linens.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and complete assigned pre-shift, post-shift, daily and weekly duties.
- Maintain high standards of personal presentation and restaurant hygiene; clean and maintain workstations.
- Perform light lifting and move restaurant furniture and equipment as required.
Qualifications
- Experience in serving food and beverage and following proper table service guidelines.
- Knowledge of correct placement of china, glass and flatware and the order of service as indicated by kitchen tickets and guidebook.
- Thorough knowledge of food preparation and culinary terminology.
- Ability to interact graciously with the public, handle multiple duties simultaneously, and solve customer issues.
- Capacity to stand, bend, climb stairs and lift/carry up to 35 pounds; willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Experience
Experience in serving food and beverage and following proper table service guidelines is required; prior experience in upscale or high-volume restaurant or retail-dining environments is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.61 to USD 24.51 per hour.
