Role & Responsibilities
- Serve assigned seating section of the dining area in a professional and gracious manner consistent with Neiman Marcus luxury standards
- Provide detailed information to guests about menu items, utilizing thorough knowledge of food preparation and culinary terminology
- Leverage expert knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, including technical service procedures and recommendations
- Execute pre-shift, post-shift, and daily operational duties as assigned
- Maintain accurate transaction records and demonstrate proficiency with the POS system and all authorized payment methods
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of restaurant workstation and dining areas to the highest hygiene standards
- Participate in mandatory daily pre-shift meetings and coordinate schedule changes with management
- Lift and transport furniture, serviceware, and items up to 35 pounds as required
- Interact graciously with guests and colleagues while managing multiple concurrent service duties
Qualifications
- Experience serving food and beverage in formal table service settings
- Thorough knowledge of table setting order of service, including proper placement of china, glassware, and flatware
- Mastery of culinary terminology and food preparation methods
- Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits service protocols and pairings
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
- Physical capacity to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry 35 pounds regularly
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Skills
Experience
Prior experience serving food and beverage in a professional dining environment, with demonstrated proficiency in formal table service guidelines and guest interaction standards.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 22.03 to USD 27.54 per hour.
