Role & Responsibilities
- Serve assigned seating section in a professional, gracious manner consistent with Neiman Marcus hospitality standards
- Provide detailed information to customers regarding menu items, food preparation methods, and culinary terminology
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, including technical and service procedures
- Manage all transactions with established accounting procedures and maintain proficiency with the POS system
- Maintain thorough knowledge of order of service and proper placement of table settings, food, and beverages
- Execute pre-shift, post-shift, and daily duties as assigned by supervisor
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and coordinate scheduling with management
- Maintain highest standards of personal hygiene and restaurant cleanliness
Qualifications
- Experience serving food and beverage with knowledge of proper table service guidelines
