Role & Responsibilities
- Serves assigned seating section of dining area in a professional and gracious manner
- Utilizes thorough knowledge of food preparation and culinary terminology to provide detailed information about menu items to customers
- Leverages knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, including technical and service procedures
- Interacts graciously with customers and manages multiple concurrent duties with composure
- Participates in daily pre-shift meetings and briefings
- Adheres to established accounting procedures for all transactions and maintains proficiency with the POS system
- Executes pre-shift, post-shift, and daily and weekly duties as directed by supervisor
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of dining room, tables, chairs, and personal workstation
- Upholds the highest standards of personal hygiene, including uniform maintenance, grooming, and food safety protocols
- Demonstrates integrity with scheduling, punctuality, and shift management responsibilities
- Coordinates holiday, vacation, and time-off requests while considering operational needs
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Proven experience serving food and beverage in a professional dining environment
- Thorough knowledge of table service order of service, table setting protocols, and proper placement of china, glassware, and flatware
- Demonstrated expertise in culinary knowledge and food service terminology
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with a composed demeanor in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
- Physical capability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Experience
Experience in serving food and beverage in a professional setting, with proficiency in proper table service guidelines and a demonstrated understanding of fine dining service standards.
Education
High School diploma or GED preferred.
