Role & Responsibilities
- Serve assigned seating section of dining area in a professional and gracious manner consistent with luxury hospitality standards
- Provide detailed information about menu items, leveraging thorough knowledge of food, preparation techniques, and culinary terminology
- Demonstrate expertise in wine, beer, and spirits service, including technical knowledge and proper service procedures
- Execute pre-shift, post-shift, and daily operational duties as assigned by supervisor
- Interact graciously with patrons while managing multiple concurrent duties and requests
- Maintain thorough knowledge of order of service, proper placement of tableware, and presentation standards
- Adhere to all accounting procedures and authorized payment methods; maintain proficiency with POS system
- Participate in daily pre-shift briefings and team coordination meetings
- Maintain highest standards of personal hygiene, uniform presentation, and workstation cleanliness
- Coordinate schedule flexibility, including holidays, vacations, and shift changes with management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Demonstrated experience in food and beverage service with knowledge of proper table service guidelines
- Thorough knowledge of order of service and formal place settings
