Role & Responsibilities
- Serve assigned dining sections with professionalism and grace, adhering to proper table service protocols and placement of place settings, china, glassware, and flatware
- Provide detailed product knowledge and recommendations regarding menu items, preparation methods, culinary terminology, and beverage selections including wines, beers, and spirits
- Process all transactions accurately using the POS system while maintaining adherence to authorized payment methods and accounting procedures
- Maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, professional appearance, and uniform standards
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and execute assigned pre-shift, post-shift, and weekly maintenance duties
- Execute physical responsibilities including standing for extended periods, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting objects up to 35 pounds
- Work flexible scheduling requirements including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Demonstrable experience in food and beverage service with knowledge of proper table service guidelines and order of service
- Thorough knowledge of culinary terminology, food preparation methods, and plating standards
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant accounting procedures
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds and perform sustained standing, bending, and stair climbing
