Role & Responsibilities
- Serve assigned seating section of dining area in a professional and gracious manner consistent with luxury service standards
- Provide detailed information to customers about menu items, leveraging thorough knowledge of food preparation and culinary terminology
- Demonstrate expertise in wine, beer, and spirits offerings, including technical knowledge and proper service procedures
- Manage multiple simultaneous duties while interacting graciously with guests and maintaining composure
- Execute all pre-shift and post-shift duties as assigned by management, including setup and breakdown of dining areas
- Adhere to established accounting procedures for all transactions and authorized payment methods, maintaining proficiency with POS systems
- Maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform presentation
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and ongoing training initiatives
- Perform physical duties including lifting objects up to 35 pounds, standing for extended periods, and climbing stairs
- Support restaurant cleanliness and maintenance standards throughout shifts
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Prior experience in food and beverage service within a fine dining or upscale hospitality setting
- Thorough knowledge of table service guidelines, order of service, and proper placement of china, glassware, flatware, and accompaniments
- Comprehensive understanding of food preparation methods and culinary terminology
- Demonstrated ability to interact graciously with diverse clientele and handle competing priorities simultaneously
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work with strict attention to detail and maintain composure in high-volume environments
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by business needs

Experience
Prior experience in serving food and beverage in a fine dining or upscale hospitality environment is essential. The candidate should demonstrate comfort working autonomously while maintaining collaborative relationships with kitchen and management staff.
Education
