Neiman Marcus seeks a Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences to customers at its in-house luxury restaurant. The Server will manage an assigned seating section with professionalism and grace, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of cuisine, wine, and spirits while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and hygiene expected in an upscale retail environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Serve assigned dining section with professional grace and warm hospitality
• Provide detailed menu guidance using thorough knowledge of food preparation, culinary terminology, and beverage offerings including wine, beer, and spirits
• Execute proper table service techniques including china, glassware, and flatware placement according to established guidelines
• Process all transactions using POS system and authorized payment methods following established accounting procedures
• Participate in daily pre-shift briefings and complete assigned pre-shift, post-shift, and weekly duties
• Maintain exceptional personal hygiene and appearance standards including clean, pressed uniform and professionally styled hair and nails
• Perform physical tasks including lifting tables, chairs, and other restaurant equipment up to 35 pounds
• Clean and maintain restaurant workstation and dining areas to highest standards
• Coordinate scheduling, holidays, and time-off requests with management while prioritizing restaurant operations
• Demonstrate flexibility and team commitment by working evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Demonstrated experience in food and beverage service with proper table service knowledge
• Thorough understanding of order of service and proper table setting protocols
• Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation terminology and menu items
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple duties simultaneously
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving capabilities
• Physical capacity to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 35 pounds regularly

Skills

Experience

Prior experience in serving food and beverage in a restaurant or upscale hospitality setting is preferred.

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 20.12 to USD 25.15 per hour.
