Role & Responsibilities

• Serve assigned seating section with professional and gracious demeanor consistent with Neiman Marcus service standards
• Provide detailed menu guidance leveraging thorough knowledge of food preparation, culinary terminology, and beverage offerings including wine, beer, and spirits
• Execute proper table service protocols including accurate placement of table settings, china, glassware, and flatware per service guidelines
• Process customer transactions using the POS system while adhering to all authorized payment methods and accounting procedures
• Participate in daily pre-shift briefings and execute all pre-shift, post-shift, and weekly duties as assigned
• Maintain highest hygiene standards including clean, pressed uniform and professional grooming to prevent food contamination
• Lift, move, and arrange tables, chairs, and equipment as needed, handling weights up to 35 pounds
• Clean and maintain restaurant and personal workstation to established standards
• Coordinate scheduling, time off, and shift changes with management while accommodating operational needs

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Demonstrated experience in food and beverage service with knowledge of proper table service guidelines
• Thorough knowledge of order of service and correct placement of table settings, china, glassware, and flatware
• Comprehensive understanding of food preparation and culinary terminology
• Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits including technical and service procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 35 pounds

Skills

Experience

Prior experience serving food and beverage in a professional dining environment, with demonstrated ability to execute proper table service and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Education

High School diploma or GED preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.16 to USD 23.95 per hour.
