Role & Responsibilities
- Provide gracious, professional table service to assigned seating sections in accordance with Neiman Marcus standards.
- Deliver detailed menu guidance using thorough knowledge of food preparation, culinary terminology, and dietary considerations.
- Recommend and serve wine, beer and spirits, applying appropriate technical and service procedures.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and adhere to established accounting procedures for all transactions and payment methods.
- Participate in pre-shift briefings and perform pre-shift, post-shift, daily and weekly opening/closing duties as assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and workstation, and uphold rigorous hygiene and uniform standards.
- Manage multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously while resolving service issues with professionalism.
- Comply with scheduling procedures including punctual punch-in/punch-out, shift changes, and coordination of time off with management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience serving food and beverage with a solid command of formal table service and order-of-service protocols.
- Practical knowledge of wine, beer and spirits and appropriate pairings and service techniques.
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and problem-solving skills; ability to interact graciously with a luxury clientele.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical capability to stand for long periods, bend, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 35 pounds.
- Availability and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Experience
Previous experience in restaurant or fine-dining table service is preferred; demonstrated competence in multi-table service and working within a high-volume, luxury environment is expected.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.16 to USD 23.95 per hour.
