Role & Responsibilities
- Serve assigned seating section of dining area in a professional and gracious manner consistent with Neiman Marcus standards
- Provide detailed information to customers about menu items, utilizing thorough knowledge of food, preparation methods, and culinary terminology
- Leverage expertise in wine, beer, and spirits service, including technical and service procedures
- Interact graciously with the public while managing multiple duties simultaneously
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and briefings
- Adhere to established accounting procedures for all transactions and maintain proficiency with POS systems
- Execute pre-shift, post-shift, and weekly duties as assigned by management
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and organization of workstation
- Uphold highest hygiene standards including uniform presentation, grooming, and food safety protocols
- Manage scheduling with integrity, coordinating vacation, holiday, and time-off requests with management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Proven experience in food and beverage service with strong knowledge of table service guidelines
- Thorough knowledge of order of service and proper placement of table settings, china, glassware, and flatware
- Comprehensive understanding of food preparation and culinary terminology
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities

- Willingness to work flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays
