Role & Responsibilities
- Serve an assigned dining section with professional, gracious table service consistent with Neiman Marcus standards
- Provide detailed menu guidance using thorough knowledge of food preparation, culinary terminology, and dietary considerations
- Recommend and serve wine, beer and spirits, applying appropriate technical and service procedures
- Operate the POS system and follow established accounting procedures for all transactions and payment methods
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and execute pre-shift, post-shift and daily duties as assigned
- Maintain restaurant and workstation cleanliness and uphold the highest hygiene and uniform standards
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while interacting graciously with guests and resolving service issues
- Adhere to scheduling procedures, accurately clocking in/out and coordinating time off with management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience serving food and beverage with knowledge of order of service and proper table settings
- Strong customer service and problem‑solving skills with a collaborative 'win together' mentality
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Capability to stand for long periods, bend, climb stairs and lift/carry up to 35 pounds

Experience
Previous experience in restaurant or food & beverage service with demonstrated competence in fine dining table service and multi-tasking under busy conditions.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred.
