Neiman Marcus — Boca Raton: Restaurant Server role (on-site) at Neiman Marcus in Boca Raton. Hourly position delivering elevated food & beverage service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve an assigned seating section with professional, gracious table service consistent with Neiman Marcus standards.
- Provide detailed menu guidance using thorough knowledge of food preparation, culinary terminology and menu components.
- Advise guests on wine, beer and spirits, and execute beverage service according to technical and service procedures.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and adhere to established accounting procedures for all transactions and payment methods.
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and execute pre-shift, post-shift and daily/weekly duties as assigned.
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness, workstation standards and the highest levels of personal hygiene and presentation.
- Handle multiple duties simultaneously while delivering exceptional customer service and resolving guest concerns.
- Follow scheduling procedures, accurately punch in/out, coordinate time off with management and comply with shift-change policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience serving food and beverage with knowledge of proper table service and order of service.
- Familiarity with wine, beer and spirits service and technical beverage procedures.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs and lift/carry up to 35 pounds.

Experience
Previous experience in a food and beverage serving role is required, demonstrating command of formal table service, beverage knowledge and multi-tasking in a high-volume, guest-focused environment.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred
