Role & Responsibilities

• Maintain dining-room setup and table maintenance, including clearing and re-setting tables according to brand standards.
• Deliver popovers, butter, water and other basic items; run plated food and beverages from kitchen to dining room following kitchen tickets.
• Support waitstaff and kitchen by restocking plates, replenishing beverage stations, bagging to-go orders and setting up expediter station as required.
• Manage bus station and beverage areas; restock glasses, flatware, linens and service supplies.
• Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and execute assigned pre-shift, post-shift, daily and weekly duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of restaurant and workstation; ensure uniform and personal grooming standards to avoid food contamination.
• Perform physical duties including lifting and moving tables, chairs and equipment and lifting up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience serving food and beverage and following formal table-service guidelines.
• Thorough knowledge of table settings, order of service and proper placement of china, glass and flatware.
• Familiarity with food preparation terms and basic culinary terminology.
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to interact graciously with the public.
• Ability to work autonomously, be motivated and maintain a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, climb stairs and lift/carry up to 35 pounds.

Experience

Prior experience working in a restaurant or food-service environment as a server, busser or similar role, with demonstrated knowledge of formal table-service standards.

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17.05 to USD 21.32 per hour.
