Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain front-of-house service standards including personal presentation, cleanliness, and professional interactions among associates and store teams.
  • Create and manage efficient, flexible restaurant schedules in coordination with kitchen leadership to align staffing with business needs.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and dining-room personnel to ensure accurate menu coverage, food availability and quality-control standards while minimizing waste.
  • Oversee daily guest service flow: greeting, seating and monitoring the guest experience; identify and correct service lapses.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports to support sales forecasting and operational planning.
  • Manage inventory controls, budget tracking and labor costs for the restaurant operation.
  • Delegate tasks to associates, verify completion and provide coaching to uphold service standards.
  • Support planning and execution of special events and catering, including review of prospectus details and management of rentals and labor requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with guests, representing the restaurant and Neiman Marcus brand in all customer interactions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of table settings, order of service and common culinary terminology.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities and remain composed under pressure.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to stand, bend, climb stairs and lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office Product Suite preferred.

Experience
