Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers at the host stand in a warm, accommodating, and professional manner
- Manage reservations through the OpenTable platform, including VIP bookings and inquiries regarding hours, specials, and events
- Monitor server performance and flow of service to ensure smooth dining experiences aligned with operational standards
- Organize and optimize seating arrangements to maximize covers during operating hours while balancing staffing capacity
- Maintain proper telephone etiquette and professional communication with guests and internal staff
- Adhere to established accounting procedures for all transactions and maintain proficiency with the POS system
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and maintain adherence to the established work schedule
- Ensure cleanliness and presentability of menus and table settings
- Maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, including clean pressed uniform, professionally styled appearance, and adherence to food safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Knowledge of OpenTable reservation platform
