Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers warmly and professionally at the host stand or door.
- Monitor server performance to support smooth service throughout the dining experience.
- Use proper telephone etiquette.
- Manage reservations, including VIP reservations, through OpenTable and respond to inquiries about operating hours, specials, events, and other matters.
- Organize reservations, maximize seating during operating hours, and optimize staffing and customer traffic.
- Follow established accounting procedures for transactions, accept authorized payment methods, and maintain knowledge of the POS system.
- Maintain service flow standards, including seating customers appropriately at each wait station.
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings.
- Perform duties that may require lifting objects such as tables, chairs, and highchairs.
- Keep menus and menu covers clean and presentable.
- Maintain high hygiene standards, including a clean, pressed uniform jacket and accompanying clothing and shoes, and clean, professionally styled hair and nails to avoid food contamination risks.
- Follow the posted work schedule and established procedures for schedule and shift changes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Knowledge of the OpenTable platform.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.

- Ability to interact graciously with the public and handle multiple duties simultaneously.
