Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain dish, trash, and floor areas to the highest health and kitchen standards
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, including monitoring chemical levels and reporting malfunctions to management
- Wash all service items including pots, pans, dishes, flatware, and glassware at a consistent pace
- Exercise caution when handling breakables and delicate items
- Keep floors clean and free of spills, grease, and debris
- Monitor and remove trash as needed throughout shifts
- Assist with food preparation and general kitchen cleaning as directed
- Uphold all health and sanitation standards per Neiman Marcus protocols, local Health Department regulations, and third-party auditors
- Maintain professional working relationships with kitchen staff, line cooks, chefs, and front-of-house personnel
- Support evening, weekend, and holiday service schedules based on business needs
Qualifications
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Physical capability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly
- Motivated, results-driven work ethic with a collaborative team mentality
