Neiman Marcus seeks a Restaurant Dishwasher to maintain exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards across the restaurant's dish, trash, and floor areas, ensuring guests experience the luxury service standards that define the brand. The position requires proficiency with commercial dishwashing machinery, chemical sanitization protocols, and Health Department compliance, alongside the ability to work at pace in a fast-moving kitchen environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Maintain dish machine operational readiness by monitoring chemical levels, performing daily functionality checks, and promptly reporting malfunctions to management
• Sustain highest Health and Kitchen standards across dish areas, trash management, and floor maintenance to prevent contamination and ensure food safety compliance
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans at consistent pace, exercising careful handling of breakables to minimize loss
• Keep floor areas free of spills, grease, and debris to maintain a safe working environment and professional appearance
• Monitor and empty trash receptacles regularly to prevent overflow and maintain kitchen sanitation
• Organize and stock all cleaning solutions, sanitizing materials, and dish station supplies for efficient workflow
• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation support tasks and additional cleaning as directed by management
• Uphold all Health and Sanitation standards set by Neiman Marcus, local Health Department, and third-party sanitation auditors

Qualifications

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry items up to 35 pounds
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs
• Demonstrated motivation and results-driven work ethic
• Collaborative "win together" mentality and professional demeanor with all kitchen and front-of-house staff

Skills

Experience

No specific prior experience required; however, experience in a high-volume food service or luxury hospitality kitchen environment is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.61 to USD 24.51 per hour.
