Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain dish, trash, and floor areas to the highest health and kitchen standards
- Operate commercial dish machine, monitor chemical levels, and report malfunctions to management
- Wash and organize pots, pans, dishes, flatware, and glassware at a consistent pace
- Handle breakables with appropriate caution and care
- Monitor and empty trash containers regularly throughout service
- Prepare and maintain all cleaning solutions and sanitizing materials
- Keep kitchen floors clean and free of spills, grease, and debris
- Assist with kitchen preparation and general cleaning as directed
- Maintain professional relationships with culinary staff, line cooks, and front-of-house team
- Uphold all health, sanitation, and food safety standards per Neiman Marcus, local health department, and third-party auditors
