Role & Responsibilities
- Serve and interact with customers in a professional and gracious manner consistent with Neiman Marcus luxury hospitality standards
- Prepare and serve beverages with comprehensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and technical service procedures
- Utilize thorough knowledge of food, including preparation and culinary terminology, to provide detailed menu information and recommendations to customers
- Manage bar operations efficiently using POS and ticket systems to support smooth staff delivery
- Execute proper table service protocols, including correct placement of china, glassware, flatware, and food and beverage items according to guidelines
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and maintain awareness of restaurant operations and special promotions
- Adhere to established accounting procedures and payment authorization protocols while maintaining POS system proficiency
- Maintain the highest hygiene standards, including clean and pressed uniforms, professionally styled appearance, and food safety protocols
- Complete assigned cleaning and maintenance duties during pre-shift, post-shift, and daily and weekly cycles
- Demonstrate flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Proven experience in food and beverage service with adherence to proper table service guidelines
- Thorough knowledge of order of service and correct placement of table settings, food, and beverages
- Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation and culinary terminology
- Expert understanding of spirits, wines, and beers with mastery of technical and service procedures
- Ability to interact graciously with customers from diverse backgrounds

Skills
Experience
Prior experience in food and beverage service, preferably in an upscale or luxury hospitality setting, with demonstrated proficiency in table service protocols and beverage service standards.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred.
