Role & Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional beverage service to restaurant and store guests consistent with Neiman Marcus service standards.
- Advise guests on menu items and beverages using thorough knowledge of food preparation, culinary terminology, beer, wine and spirits.
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine and other beverages to specification while maintaining pace during service.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) and ticket systems accurately; follow established accounting and payment procedures for all transactions.
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and maintain clear communication with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth delivery of bar items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and workstation, performing pre-shift, post-shift and assigned daily/weekly duties.
- Adhere to hygiene, uniform and grooming standards to minimize food contamination risks.
- Perform physical tasks as required, including standing for extended periods, bending, stair use and lifting up to 35 pounds.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in food and beverage service within a full-service or upscale environment.
- Thorough knowledge of order of service, table settings (china, glassware, flatware) and interpretation of kitchen tickets.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills; ability to interact graciously with the public and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; motivated and results-driven.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Experience
Experience serving food and beverage and following proper table service guidelines; prior experience in a fast-paced, full-service or upscale hospitality environment preferred.
Education
