Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate production of daily menu and special-event food items for the Rotunda restaurant, following production and build-to sheets to control waste.
- Control daily and weekly inventories and communicate supply needs to the head cook to maintain cost and profitability targets.
- Verify and execute special orders, maintain flow of food orders and coordinate with service associates to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary work area; close and sanitize stations according to health codes and gather items for next day production.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and promptly report malfunctions to the designated associate.
- Adhere to Neiman Marcus, local Health Department and third‑party sanitation auditor standards at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant culinary or food-service experience.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, climb stairs and lift/carry up to 35 pounds.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays according to business needs.
