Neiman Marcus seeks a Merchandise Operations Associate to support daily store operations, including receiving, stocking, fulfillment, and merchandise handling functions. The successful candidate will maintain stockroom organization, process inbound and outbound freight, pack and ship customer orders, manage price changes and reticketing, and ensure merchandise standards are upheld while assisting with in-store events and visual displays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Complete daily store operations including merchandise handling, transfers, and processing of inbound and outbound freight
- Execute fulfillment, packing, and shipping of online and store customer orders
- Maintain merchandise placement standards and complete price changes and reticketing
- Manage back stocking, stockroom organization, and inventory control processes including mark-downs and damages
- Merchandise product and assist with setting up sale events and signage under manager guidance
- Support set-up and take-down of in-store events and activations
- Follow all safety procedures on the dock and throughout work areas
- Report to the RPSO Manager and assist with daily store profitability and customer experience enhancement
Qualifications
- 1 or more years of retail operations or merchandise handling experience
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when managing competing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite applications
- Physical capability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 35 pounds regularly
Skills
Experience
1 or more years of retail experience, with direct involvement in merchandise operations, stock management, or fulfillment preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; specialized training in retail operations is a plus.

This position is based in Troy, Michigan, USA, within easy reach of Detroit.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17.05 to USD 21.32 per hour.
