The Merchandise Operations Associate supports daily Neiman Marcus store operations through merchandise handling, freight processing, order fulfillment, inventory control, stockroom maintenance, merchandising, and in-store events. Role & Responsibilities
- Complete daily store operations and assist leads and managers.
- Handle merchandise, process transfers, and process inbound and outbound freight.
- Fulfill, pack, and ship online and in-store customer orders.
- Place merchandise in accordance with merchandise standards.
- Process price changes and reticketing; sign and move products once marked.
- Perform reticketing, damage processing, out-of-stock marking, and related inventory-control processes.
- Back-stock merchandise and maintain stockroom organization.
- Under the guidance of managers and Visual, merchandise products and set up sale events and signage in accordance with standards.
- Support the setup and breakdown of in-store events and activations.
- Follow safety procedures on the loading dock and in all other work areas.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of retail experience.
- Flexibility in managing competing tasks and a “win together” mentality.
- Basic proficiency with the MS Office Product Suite.
- Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
