The Merchandise Operations Associate supports store sales and the customer experience through merchandise handling, stockroom organization, inventory control, order fulfillment, and event setup. The role is part-time and requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Complete daily store operations and support leads and managers.
- Handle merchandise, transfers, and inbound and outbound freight processing.
- Fulfill, pack, and ship online and in-store customer orders.
- Place merchandise to ensure standards are followed.
- Execute price changes and reticketing, and sign and move marked products.
- Process reticketing, damages, stock-outs, and related inventory control tasks.
- Back-stock merchandise and organize and maintain the stockroom.
- Under manager and Visual guidance, merchandise products and set up sale events and signage in accordance with standards.
- Support the setup and takedown of in-store events and activations.
- Follow safety procedures on the dock and in all other work areas.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of retail experience.
- Flexibility in managing competing tasks and a “win together” mentality.
- Basic proficiency with the MS Office Product Suite.
- Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
