Role & Responsibilities
- Process inbound merchandise and execute accurate placement and presentation on the selling floor.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and follow direction to ensure consistent product presentation.
- Support store projects including floor recovery, supply replenishment and ad hoc merchandise tasks.
- Locate merchandise within the store and complete customer orders accurately and promptly.
- Deliver excellent customer service and respond quickly to customer needs and inquiries.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry and handle cartons and merchandise up to 50 pounds; climb ladders and manage racks and carts.
- Proven ability to maintain visual merchandising standards and attention to presentation detail.
- Proficiency with store technology and inventory devices (RF guns, PC, iOS device) and basic office software (Excel, Word).
- Flexible availability to work hours that meet business needs, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle when required (per local licensing rules).
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; prior retail, stockroom or merchandising experience preferred. Customer-facing experience and familiarity with inventory processes are advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
