Neiman Marcus (Garden City, NY) seeks a part-time Merchandise Operations Associate. Hourly pay $19.61–$24.51. Onsite role supporting merchandise processing and fulfillment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process inbound merchandise and manage accurate placement and presentation on the selling floor.
- Execute and uphold visual merchandising standards and follow directional guidance for displays.
- Participate in store projects including floor recovery, supply replenishment and ad hoc merchandise tasks.
- Locate merchandise within the store and complete customer orders and special requests.
- Deliver prompt, professional customer service to address client needs during fulfillment activities.
- Operate material-handling equipment, ladders and carts safely; assist with loading/unloading as required.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move cartons, racks and carts of merchandise up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with visual merchandising standards and the ability to maintain presentation consistency.
- Proven ability to follow instructions, work a flexible schedule and complete assigned tasks reliably.
- Ability to drive a company vehicle in accordance with state driver’s license requirements (select doors only).
Skills
Experience
Preferred: retail or merchandising experience; typically 0–2 years of hands-on experience in store operations, stockroom or inventory fulfillment roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
