Neiman Marcus in Atlanta seeks a part-time Operations Support Associate for merchandise handling, fulfillment and stockroom operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute daily store operations supporting sales and customer experience, reporting to the RPSO Manager.
- Receive, process and handle inbound and outbound freight, including transfers and merchandise movement.
- Pick, pack and ship online and in-store customer orders; manage fulfillment workflows.
- Maintain merchandise standards through correct placements, signage, price changes and reticketing.
- Perform inventory-control tasks such as reticketing, marking damages, marking out-of-stock items and related documentation.
- Organize and maintain back-stock and stockroom areas to ensure efficient inventory accessibility.
- Support visual merchandising and set sale events under the guidance of Managers and Visual teams.
- Assist with set-up and teardown of in-store events and activations.
- Adhere to all safety procedures on the dock and throughout the store's workspaces.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of retail experience.
- Demonstrated flexibility managing competing priorities and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks required by the role, including standing, bending, climbing stairs and lifting up to 35 pounds.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
- Basic proficiency with MS Office Product Suite.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of prior retail experience, preferably with hands-on exposure to receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment in a fast-paced store environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
