Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional in-person consultations and makeup/skincare applications that reflect Neiman Marcus service standards (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
- Drive individual and vendor-line sales, meet event and daily/monthly departmental targets, and close retail transactions confidently.
- Operate and maintain client records using Saks Fifth Avenue’s online clienteling resource tool to build repeat business and manage follow-up.
- Plan and execute pre-booked facial consultation events and other promotional activities in coordination with the Cosmetics Selling Manager and vendor representatives.
- Maintain visual and merchandising standards of the counter: cleanliness, product presentation and brand-accurate displays.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or beauty.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a customer-facing environment.
- Demonstrable professional make-up and treatment consultation skills with the ability to perform applications and skincare treatments.
- Proven ability to learn and use clienteling and CRM tools to manage and grow a personal client book.
- Strong organizational ability, sound business judgment, and the capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of retail experience, ideally in cosmetics or beauty; demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and running consultation or event-based selling.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetics or related certification preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 13 to USD 18 per hour.
