Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain the safety and security of customers, employees and store premises through visible presence and proactive measures.
  • Perform monitoring and surveillance to detect indicators of internal and external theft, fraud, and suspicious activity.
  • Conduct internal and external investigations, including evidence collection, witness interviews, and case development.
  • Prepare, complete and submit detailed incident reports for thefts, recoveries, accidents and audit findings.
  • Execute inventory-control audits and training initiatives to reduce shrink and improve compliance.
  • Assess and respond to emergency situations in coordination with store leadership and local authorities.
  • Support and participate in store operations programs and loss-prevention initiatives to protect sales and assets.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or retail investigations.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance security objectives and guest experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to prepare clear incident reports.
  • Investigative aptitude and conflict-management skills, including de-escalation techniques.
  • Basic proficiency with computer software for reporting and case documentation.
  • Adaptability and sound judgment when responding to changing directions or unexpected incidents.
