Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety and security of customers, employees and store premises through visible presence and proactive measures.
- Perform monitoring and surveillance to detect indicators of internal and external theft, fraud, and suspicious activity.
- Conduct internal and external investigations, including evidence collection, witness interviews, and case development.
- Prepare, complete and submit detailed incident reports for thefts, recoveries, accidents and audit findings.
- Execute inventory-control audits and training initiatives to reduce shrink and improve compliance.
- Assess and respond to emergency situations in coordination with store leadership and local authorities.
- Support and participate in store operations programs and loss-prevention initiatives to protect sales and assets.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or retail investigations.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance security objectives and guest experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to prepare clear incident reports.
- Investigative aptitude and conflict-management skills, including de-escalation techniques.
- Basic proficiency with computer software for reporting and case documentation.
- Adaptability and sound judgment when responding to changing directions or unexpected incidents.

Experience
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or retail investigations, with experience conducting investigations, surveillance, and preparing incident reports.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in loss prevention, security, or criminal justice preferred.
