Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety and security of customers, employees, inventory, and store property through visible presence and proactive risk mitigation.
- Perform monitoring and surveillance to detect indicators of internal and external theft, fraud, or suspicious activity.
- Conduct and document internal and external investigations, including incident reports, merchandise recoveries, and accident inquiries.
- Execute inventory-loss control measures and support audit activities to reduce shrink.
- Assess and assist with emergency situations and coordinate response with store leadership and emergency services as required.
- Support store operational programs, training initiatives, and loss-prevention awareness among store teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or retail security.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance service and security.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with accurate incident documentation.
- Investigative aptitude and conflict-management skills; ability to de-escalate sensitive situations.
- Basic proficiency with computer software for reporting and case documentation.
- Flexibility to respond to changing priorities, work retail hours including nights/weekends, and pass required background checks.

Experience
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, or a closely related retail security role, with demonstrated investigative and incident-reporting capability.
Education
High school diploma or GED required; additional training or certification in loss prevention, security, or a related field preferred.
