Neiman Marcus Facility Engineer in Scottsdale, Arizona. Maintain luxury retail building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and energy management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly preventive maintenance on all building equipment and building envelope, including daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspection logging
- Perform inspections on critical facility equipment including vertical transportation, boilers, generators, and HVAC systems
- Order maintenance supplies and assist the Regional Manager in managing maintenance expense accounts
- Coordinate execution of capital planning projects in collaboration with Regional Management
- Maintain and coordinate all building energy management systems, including lighting, through Trane Ensemble Software
- Provide support for building systems including Point of Sale (POS) and telephone systems
- Respond to after-hours and emergency maintenance calls with flexibility for overtime work
- Accommodate limited time off between Black Friday and January 8th during peak retail season
Qualifications
- Degree from a vocational school or college with focus in Mechanical or Electrical field
- Two to five years of experience in Mechanical or Electrical field, or equivalent through four-year apprenticeship
- Demonstrated background in building maintenance, electrical systems, and HVAC
- Proficiency with Trane Ensemble Software for energy management systems
- Understanding and knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) information
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly with capacity for bending, lifting, and reaching both below waist and above head
- Ability to climb ladders safely

Experience
Two to five years of professional experience in mechanical or electrical facility maintenance, or equivalent background gained through a formal four-year apprenticeship in related trades. Experience with building envelope maintenance, critical equipment inspections, and energy management systems is essential.
Education
Vocational school diploma or college degree with focus in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Four-year apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical trade accepted as equivalent qualification.
