Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, high-touch customer service from approach through follow-up, serving as the brand and department expert.
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line, event, and department sales targets through proactive selling and relationship building.
- Perform professional skin treatments, facial consultations and make-up application to clients, tailoring recommendations to individual needs.
- Use the Saks Fifth Avenue online clienteling system to record client preferences, manage follow-ups and drive repeat business.
- Maintain counter and merchandising standards: clean, well-stocked and visually compelling selling area.
- Support pre-booked consultation events and vendor-led initiatives, and participate in in-house training programs to maintain product and technique knowledge.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a cosmetics or beauty environment with demonstrated customer-facing success.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and event goals.
- Valid esthetician or cosmetology license as required by state regulation (Florida license expected).
- Proficiency with clienteling tools and the ability to learn proprietary retail software.
- Strong attention to detail, sound business judgment, organizational ability and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced team environment.
