Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain dish, trash and floor areas to the highest health and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Operate and maintain the dish machine: check and refill chemicals, use chemical testers, and report malfunctions to Restaurant Manager or Executive Chef.
- Wash and expedite pots, pans, dishes, flatware and glassware while maintaining an efficient pace and protecting breakables.
- Use and store sanitizing materials correctly and ensure all cleaning solutions are organized and available for kitchen use.
- Remove trash as needed and keep floors free of spills, grease and debris.
- Assist with kitchen preparation and additional cleaning tasks as required by service levels.
- Uphold professional relationships with line cooks, chefs and front-of-house staff and comply with local Health Department and third-party sanitation audit requirements.
Qualifications
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

- Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as business needs require.
- Capable of standing, bending, climbing stairs and lifting/carrying up to 35 pounds.

Entry-level role; prior dishroom or kitchen experience preferred but not required. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
